I broke my ankle last week and bought this to keep my cast clean around the house. I have two dogs and two cats and now the hair and dirt is sticking to this boot instead of my cast which is brilliant. It's great around the garden too, for bringing in the washing etc.I'm female size 7 but I have wide legs and my cast is huge, so I bought XL and it's a perfect fit.Note that it's not waterproof but it is very thick so will offer some protection on damp ground. Also since it doesn't have a grippy sole you need to be careful on smooth floors.If I have to have the cast on for much longer I'll be buying a second one.
