I have used these fins almost daily in the pool for ten years. They fit perfectly and are great to use witha kick board and make swimming butterfly a blast. Great supplement for a pool workout.I have used just about every fin style you can imagine… turtle, split, boogie board, snorkel. This Avanti fin is my favourite ‘cross over’ for warm water - closed heel (no booty when warm!), flexy enough for snorkeling, and stiff enough for scuba. Can’t beat it for the priceGreat fins for price and good propulsion. This is my third pair. I get about 8 to 10 years of use out of them with steady almost daily use from diving or swimming before I break one. I have freediving fins I use for Deepwater but these get a lot of use in the 30 foot and shallower range and do great. These are cheap, but time proven design. With very soft foot pockets that dont give you cramps. They dont last very long if used daily as foot pocket rips but for occasional user it will last couple years. I mainly use for fin training as they are easy on the ankle joints, and play underwater hockey using these fins. These run very large. I had to return them and go to a dive shop to get a pair that fit - 2 sizes smaller than the shoe sizes indicated on the product. I have used this style before and they are great in the water but hard to order on-line if the sizing guidelines are so offFins were a little loose, but some scuba socks fixed that. These fins give me more power swimming under the surface than the old ones. Jury is still out on whether I'm working harder or not. They're longer than I expected.Super comfortable, perfect fit.Bought these fins to play under water hockey. Good maneuverability. Not as fast as the Mares Quattros that I was borrowing but my ankles also aren't hurting as much. When I changed dive bags I needed to find a smaller alternative to my Mares Avanti Quattro Power fins which are quite long and heavy, and also a little too long for my dive bag, a Stahlsac HD Caicos Cargo Dive Bag with wheels.Whilst these are comfortable, and quite compact, they deliver and acceptable level of power, but I had noticed that I have had to fin harder in currents compared to the Power fin. This is to be expected and was an anticipated trade off to get a smaller and lighter fin to our final destination. Overall very happy with this fins and would recommend them to novices and experts alike.Brilliant pair of fins , perfect for octopush. I would recommend anyone who is think of upgrading to buy these as they have improved my game no end as I play winger forward. Fins however are subjective so I you have the chance definitely try out similar flins to see if you like them.Bought same size as my old Mares fins but new ones a little loose.
