Robelle Premium water tubes are constructed of extra heavy-duty 20 gauge puncture resistant vinyl. These tubes feature a leak-proof valve that is easy to fill with a garden hose. Water tubes should be filled half-way to prevent popping caused by expansion if the water freezes. So far so good, I think these times only last 2 to 3 years no matter if you buy the blue or the black ones. I like the black so I don't see a goofy blue color on my patio all winter long.
