I use these tambourines (both) and a cahone with a kick drum pedal to act as the percussion while playing guitar solo. On their own they're a little quiet, but I put both on the same foot and they sound great! This is a cheap way for solo musicians to enhance the quality of their sound in an inexpensive way. They fit well over your shoe, and are built to last. The plastic is a little low quality/tacky looking, but the sound more than makes up for it!
